ABOUT THE HOUSING WORKS: All proceeds will benefit Housing Works, the nation’s largest community based AIDS service organization. Housing Works constantly strives to improve the lives of tens of thousands of New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS, by providing supportive housing, medical care, job training, case management, advocacy, and HIV prevention, counseling and testing services. Our chain of six thrift shops provide funding to support this.
THE EVENT: The second annual Housing Works Thrift Shops Design On A Dime fundraising event will begin with a special VIP reception at 547 West 21st Street, New York City, on Thursday, June 15th from 6pm to 9pm. Guest will view the room vignettes, enjoy exclusive preview shopping, cocktails, hor d’oeuvres, a silent auction and live entertainment, items from the event will then be available for purchase by the general public through June 17.
